Believe it or not, this is a great search tool for many early resources, particularly those published in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Most of the Pennsylvania, New York and Massachusetts historical society archives can be found in full here; all containing original soldier diaries and contemporary accounts suitable for classroom resources.
